HANDS IN SERVICE exists to demonstrate the reconciling love of Jesus Christ among people of different denominations, cultures, and backgrounds, as they share the hope of the Kingdom of God amid a society wrecked by decades of civil war, AIDs, violence, and poverty.

As an indigenously operated Christian ministry, HIS has made a commitment to be an agent of reconciliation, helping enemies become friends……peacemakers. HIS strives to be an agent of change, perceiving our daily activities and lifestyles to be opportunities to change society to be more like the Kingdom of God. HIS is committed to foster unity among the body of Christ, by accepting and encouraging all Christians as brothers and sisters to work together across denominational, ethnic, and socio economic boundaries to the glory of God. HIS strives to be stewards of God’s truth in Jesus Christ and his message of salvation offered to all mankind. And HIS is committed to being stewards of the resources entrusted to our care so that his Kingdom is built up on the earth. Under girding the ministry of Hands In Service is an operational commitment to demonstrate self sustainability as a way of life. “Let us work with our hands that we might have something to share with others” Ephesians 4:28.
